Copic wash on Yupo

I love watercolor washes that flow from one color to the next so I decided to see if I could replicate it with Copic markers on synthetic Yupo paper.  I wanted the colors to be bright and intense so I chose colors from the Copic fluorescent family – FYG2, FB2, FV2.

The first layer of the background is Copic ink on Yup0 paper.  On top of that I stamped the new Elizabeth background stamp with Ranger Carnation Red Archival Ink.
