Love this background!

loveelizabeth

The first layer of the background is Copic ink on Yup0 paper.  On top of that I stamped the new Elizabeth background stamp with Ranger Carnation Red Archival Ink. The word love was die cut with the new die in the Laura’s Love Set from Simon Says Stamp out of red fun foam and Simon Says Stamp Surf blue that was inked over with the Carnation Red ink. All of this was mounted on a Hero Arts card base.

You’re my Special-Tree

I heat embossed the Simon Says Stamp Ranunculus with Ranger gold embossing powder and then I continued to layer the gold embossing powder on top of that. Then, I die cut that gold piece with the new Hero Arts Star Confetti die.  I found these adorable wood cut trees at Target and all of that was placed onto a Hero Arts piece of red shimmery card stock.

Fall Flower Frenzy – Bling added

I went back to this piece today because I thought it needed a little something extra.  I added some white gel pen and some Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins and clear droplets. This feels much better now!

Fall Flower Frenzy!

img_8160

I embossed a Ranger heavy stock tag with a fun folder from Simon Says Stamp – Flower Frenzy! On top of that I used the following Distress Inks (Fired Brick, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Rusty Hinge, Gathered Twigs).  In between the layers of ink, I sprayed some Ranger Perfect Pearls that I mixed with some Ranger Ink and put in a mini-mister. In person, you can really see that shimmer!

Fall Ranunculus

I cannot get enough of these Sketch Ranunculus from Simon Says Stamp.  I embossed them with Ranger Liquid Platinum on the Tim Holtz heavy card stock tag and then I applied Distress ink (barn door, wild honey, ripe persimmon, twisted citron, crushed olive, shabby shutters, ground espresso).

Flower floral

fullsizerender-78

The flower is colored with Copic marker (image from a Copic workshop all about flowers!) and topped off with Distress Ink (vintage photo). The tag is a new heavy duty stock by Tim Holtz.  I used Distress Stain (tarnished brass, mowed lawn, crushed olive) and then stamped the Hero Arts Holiday Floral – Bold Prints over the top with Ranger’s Carnation Red Archival Ink. On top of that I added some additional Distress Ink (carved pumpkin, mowed lawn, vintage photo).

Thanks

img_8103

I pounced alcohol inks in green and metallic gold on to Yupo paper.  I found the die cut leaves at Target and colored some of them with Distress. Putting some foam under the Yupo, I adhered it to some Neenah Desert Storm card stock. For the “thanks” sentiment from Simon Says Stamp, I used Ranger Carnation Red Archival Ink and experimented stamping it directly onto a piece of foam. The card is finished with an acorn accent from Little B.
