Hydrangea – Bootcamp

hydrangea

This lovely hydrangea image is by Jennifer Dove.  I “painted” the petals using a technique that involves applying some Copic ink onto a palette and using Copic colorless blender to paint it in like watercolor.  In this way you are able to get multiple shades from just one color – So fun to apply and so beautiful.

Copic Bootcamp

Flower floral

The flower is colored with Copic marker (image from a Copic workshop all about flowers!) and topped off with Distress Ink (vintage photo). The tag is a new heavy duty stock by Tim Holtz.  I used Distress Stain (tarnished brass, mowed lawn, crushed olive) and then stamped the Hero Arts Holiday Floral – Bold Prints over the top with Ranger’s Carnation Red Archival Ink. On top of that I added some additional Distress Ink (carved pumpkin, mowed lawn, vintage photo).

Airbrush a Rainbow!

I really love this mulberry paper with the raised spiral pattern so I decided to use it for my Live2Color rainbow banner.  In order to make the rainbow, I airbrushed the paper using Copic markers. R29, YR07, Y15, G07, B24, V09
