Using Distress Ink as a watercolor, I added some Shabby Shutters to the peas (adding some additional interest with some colored pencil over the top) and did an overall wash of the background with Evergreen Bough.

Creative Chemistry 103: Distress Marker Spritzed Watercolor

Creative Chemistry¬†103 showed us a new tool – the Distress Marker Spritzer which allows you to insert a Distress Marker and spray ink on your surface. You don’t lose any of the intensity of the marker color in the process which can make for some very rich and colorful backgrounds.
