A little piece for this month’s new moon in Pisc

A little piece for this month’s new moon in Pisces! I used iridescent, metallic, and acrylic paints as well as watercolors.

So today I made this with Effy Wild in Book of Day

So today I made this with Effy Wild in Book of Days. It is a takeoff from the previous lesson by Kiala Givehand. Instead of making it a two page spread I made it one page so that I could use a blank page near the beginning of my journal. We used Kiala’s folding technique and then I used iridescent acrylic paint with a matte white acrylic to stencil on top. On the inside you can write or draw whatever you want in each section. I really love the idea of having some thing folded in the book.

And, here’s what we made! Each page in this little book folds out to show a different piece of art. So fun! I made a little cover for the book with some leftover cardboard inserts and a piece of paper that had all of my leftover paint spread out on it. Thanks @kialagives in Book of Days!
