Working with the Simon Says Stamp Mod Flowers Background again in Ranger Jet Black Archival Ink. This image sits on top of some Copic Ink and Ranger Gold Metal Mixative on gloss paper.
Friends! I did not really like the black dots so I revisited this design and added liquid platinum emboss over each of the black dots. This way you get a hint of the black in each dot to tie in with the lettering and the embossing to tie the whole piece together.
Using Distress Ink as a watercolor, I added some Shabby Shutters to the peas (adding some additional interest with some colored pencil over the top) and did an overall wash of the background with Evergreen Bough.
Could not resist adding some additional elements from the Sweet Memories set to the design!
Today I went in with a 2nd layer of color but used colored pencil on the petals, stems and leaves.
I embossed some of Power Poppy’s new sweet Memories sweet peas with Ranger liquid platinum embossing powder on Arches hot pressed watercolor paper. I then added a first layer of watercolor with Distress Ink. Abandoned Coral, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Weathered Wood and Shabby Shutters.
