Even the skeleton crew believes in love!
The first layer of the background is Copic ink on Yup0 paper. On top of that I stamped the new Elizabeth background stamp with Ranger Carnation Red Archival Ink. The word love was die cut with the new die in the Laura’s Love Set from Simon Says Stamp out of red fun foam and Simon Says Stamp Surf blue that was inked over with the Carnation Red ink. All of this was mounted on a Hero Arts card base.
Again I took some photo paper and applied some Copic ink and Ranger metallic mixative together with some Copic Colorless Blender. When it was completely dry, I used it with the new Simon Says Stamp Hearts Align Die. After hand lettering in chalk, I placed the hearts (I love how many hearts come out of the one die!) around the sentiment.
I took some photo paper and applied some Copic ink and Ranger metallic mixative together with some Copic Colorless Blender. When it was completely dry, I used it with the new Simon Says Stamp Hearts Mingle Die. After hand lettering in chalk, I placed hearts around the Love – a good place for hearts to be.
I die cut Lipstick Red cardstock from Simon Says Stamp with their new release, Flowing Vine Collage. I finished off the red piece with Stitched Rectangles by Tim Holtz. The blue green and the black base are from Hero Arts. I hand lettered “Love” in the opening and then put it all together with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.
I have added this card to my Etsy shop here.
For this card I used the new Angel Heart die from Simon Says Stamp to cut out metallic red card stock from Hero Arts which I applied to the white card base. I then hand lettered the word “love” in lower case script. A simple image can say so much.
I designed the card using this dapper skull from the Tim Holtz Undertaker collection from Stampers Anonymous and the Love stamp and die from Hero Arts.
To create the background for the skull, I used copic inks and blending solution and metallic mixative from Ranger on alcohol ink cardstock (also from Ranger). I stamped the image on top with Ranger black archival ink.
After stamping the card base with the “love” stamp in magenta hue archival ink, I die cut the “love” from some pink foam and adhered Distress Spun Sugar glitter.
To finish off the card I applied some black onyx sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and sprayed the whole card with shimmer spray.
I’ve added this to my Etsy Shop which you can see here. (Skeleton crew not included)
